Finishing some articles for newbies..

Hi everyone...

Lets see what Flowerfish has been up to in the last few days...

We have been busy getting some articles up and have just sent them for reedits... u know, the command of my English is not very ah-so ..British :) Hopefully they will be ready soon.

There are some fishes coming to NY very soon, so...New Yorkers, take note. Will also post updates on this very soon.

Oh ya... our "prolific Kamalau Dragon breeder No. M17" just fathered a HUGE spawn with a fully faded female Kamalau. mmmmm..... delicious!

Our blog has been up sometime now and we have come to a conclusion that our readers are graduates from the "shy school". We know many people read our blogs everyday.. thank god for Google Analytics! But not many people participate.

How about if we were to give out our juiciest, fattest and "pearliest" Kamalau Dragon for our very first virgin post? Will that help? he he... You know that I am not serious.

Anyway, thanks for dropping by and have fun here!

Al

Hi Markco..

WOO hOOO! You are the first poster in FF's blog :) Finally there is participation. Ha.. Philipines has always been carzy for flower horns. I remember once when I was there, the support for FF.com and Grandsumo was tremendous. Wanna see some pics of me and the ppl from Manila?

Anyway, do email wholesale.at.flowerfish.com for any wholesale enquiries. I am sure Sharon can help you there. Bye!

Hi USbdrive...

Sometimes if the male is not ready and if the eggs are not fertilized, the eggs will be eaten up. It will really depend on whether the eggs are fertilized.

Also, if the water conditions or environment is not condusive for breeding, the parents will also eat up the eggs. Try taking out the male after it has fertilized the eggs and let the female take care of the eggs. This will cut down the chance of the eggs being eaten.

You can also check out our article on breeding here http://www.flowerfish.com/breeding_flowerhorn.html

Cheers and good luck!
